We are an Airstream Owners’ Club and are part of the Wally Byam Caravan Club International organization. Our members are not limited to the Houston area as we have members who live as far away as Dallas and San Antonio area with affiliate members in Canada. The Texas Coastal Plains Unit was formed in 1975 by a group of members from the Texas Gulf Coast Unit who felt the need for a Houston Based Unit. A Unit Constitution and Bylaws were developed and application was made for the charter of a new Unit. On May 30, 1975, a Constitution and Bylaws were formally adopted by the group and submitted to the Wally Byam Caravan Club International. After review and approval by the International Board of Trustees, an official WBCCI Charter for Texas Coastal Plains unit 155 was issued.
The Wiley Coyote in the Unit’s logo has become an ICON that represents the daring and adventurous sprit of the Texas Coastal Plains members.
